Wing Tip NailART (PT/EN)

Last night I saw this picture of Kelly Osbourne's nails and loved them. I particulary love the contrast between the clear nailpolish and the black tips - it had to have black!!

Today I tried to do it but with my own twist. I've created a sort of wing tip, with a pronunciated shape.

Let's see how I did it. Bear in mind that I'm not a professional nail stylist and that the results aren't perfect. Either way I like the final result.

Ontem à noite eu vi esta foto das unhas da Kelly Osbourne e amei-as! Adoro particularmente o contraste entre o verniz transparente e as pontas pretas - tinha que ter preto!

Hoje tentei fazer isso, mas com o meu toque. Eu criei uma espécie de efeito wing tip mas muito pronunciado.

Vamos ver como eu fiz. Tenha em mente que eu não sou uma estilista de unhas profissional e que os resultados não são perfeitos. De qualquer forma eu gosto do resultado final.

WING TIP NAILART TUTORIAL

O que vão precisar:

- topcoat

- verniz preto 

- algodão

- acetona

- palito

- fita-cola

- tesoura

- muita paciência!!

What'll need:

- topcoat

- Black lacquer

- cotton

- acetone

- toothpick

- scotchtape

- scissors

- A lot of patience!

1. Cut the scotch tape in small pieces (10 pieces preferably, one for each finger nail) and place them on the edge of a table.

1. Corte a fita adesiva em pedaços pequenos (10 peças, de preferência, um para cada unha) e coloque-os na ponta de uma mesa.

2. Shape them like you see above. The last piece is smaller because of the pinky.
2. Dê a como você vê acima. A última peça é menor por causa do dedo mindinho.

3. Place the pieces on the finger nails and paint the tips.
3. Coloque os pedaços nas unhas e pinte as pontas.

4. Let the 1st coat dry an apply a 2nd if needed.
4. Deixe a primeira camada secar e aplique uma segunda, se necessário.

 5. Remove the scotchtape carefull. If you want some retouches take your toothpick wrap cotton to one of its tips and soak it acetone. Then, carefully retouche the nails.
5. Remova a fita-cola. Pegue no palito, enrole um pouco de algodão na ponta e mergulhe na acetona. Depois, cuidadosamente, retoque as unhas.

6. Apply the clear topcoat and you're done!
6. Aplice a topcoat transparente e está feito!

I like this effect a lot. It's kinda weird but in a nice and vintage way... 

Eu gosto muito deste efeito. É meio estranho mas de uma maneira simpática e vintage...
